Lesson Information

Lesson Overview

In this lesson, refinements and mind advances are being offered to entice a more scientific and sophisticated approach to the engagements of human touch. This lesson asks you to allow the breath and life of nature to touch your mood and that of those around you.

“To generate is to create, and to create is to care about our every thought, word, feeling and action that become the will behind what gets created in our world. It is not enough to talk about the change we want to see in the world. We have to care enough to change it through taking action to do our part, no matter how big or small.” ~ Annie Horkan

About This Lesson

You may have come into this Ambassador Program via your own free will. You might have entered it because it leads to a future of unknowns.

A future…not that will be… but one that might be. That all depends on what you do with it. On what you put into it.

Mindtouch is a Generative Principle.

We don't know what you know until you offer it up. What kind of touch will you add?

Assignment

Group Discussion Prompt

There are several messages to be un-packed from this lesson that speak to dedication and loyalty; commitment and compassion; diligence, and integrity. These are necessary attributes needed to create something nobody else has. To make a stand in front of mocking and doubting crowds takes a slightly crazy mind, ingenuity, and courage. When done right, amazing things can happen.

  • In Lesson 07 Mindsound, we showed how water contains intelligence and wisdom. Why does it contain intelligence and wisdom?

  • What do you know about the different forms water can take?

  • What is emptiness of mind and how does that relate to touch?

  • Lao Tzu said in the Tao Te Ching, “the best of men is like water.” Why?

  • How do you Interpret Qi?

  • Follow this link to watch the documentary film Buck. Discuss in the forum the parallels with Paxtial Arts and how you can use the same techniques Buck used. YouTube Link

  • Take a field trip to tune out the world and tune into nature. Observe and experience different textures found in nature with three different kinds of touch:

  • Ice Touch

  • Flowing Water Touch

  • Vaporous Touch

  • Place your bare feet directly on Mother Earth at least once a day. Share your personal grounding experience in the forum.

Contemplation Journal

You are encouraged to keep journal notes of your studies. These may be a word, a quote, or an image that has resonated with you at a particular place on your journey. Journaling can help provide great personal insights, self-awareness opportunities, and keep you on track with your studies. As new revelations appear, reflecting on past journal entries can provide a good indication of your progress and personal growth.

For this lesson, here’s a few ideas that you may like to use to help get you started.

  • Draw a quick sketch of the Mindtouch Glyph

  • Re-visit Lesson 06 Mindflip. Is your heart being attended to? How does that feel? Have others noticed?

  • Re-visit Lesson 07 Mindsound. Can you feel your breath of life? How have you made it grow?

  • Re-visit Lesson 08 Mindthink. How have you improved the alignment of your three brains? Are they open and conscientiously focused?

  • Have you ever told the child you love, this is going to hurt me more than it's going to hurt you? Why?

  • Have you ever been hit really hard with aimed skill by a martial artist, but you still walk away respecting them? Why?

  • Have you ever been hit really hard by a martial artist recklessly and you walked away despising them? Why?
